I do not agree with that,&rdquo; Ana Gutu said.<br \/>\nValeriu Strelet, the chairman of the Liberal-Democrat parliamentary group said that Neguta&rsquo;s statement &ldquo;is a personal opinion and it has nothing to do with the Government&rsquo;s strategy in this regard.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>One of the steps which the Government obeys concerns the whole withdrawal of the troops from the zone and changing the peacekeeping mission.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dumitru Diacov, the chairman of the Democrat parliamentary group, Moldova&rsquo;s &ldquo;Ambassadors make more comments than they are supposed to. I don&rsquo;t know what to understand from this: is it a personal statement or a statement spoken on the hallways? Such things are not the Ambassadors&rsquo; duty.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Andrei Neguta has previously told ITAR-TASS news agency that &ldquo;two important things should be emphasized while referring to the part of the fourteenth army: there are peacekeepers that stay at the checkpoints between those two banks of Nistru River and there are also peacekeepers who watch over the ammunition storehouse from Cobasna village. The question is &ndash; what will happen if no more protection on these storehouses will be provided?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>So far the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration did not release an official statement over these comments.<\/p>\n<p>More than 20,000 tones of weaponry are still stationing on the territory of Transnistria. Russia promised in 1999 to fully withdraw its weaponry from the territory of Moldova, but it failed to do so.
