Significant improvements have been registered during all the rounds of negotiation of the Association Agreement with the European Union, informs the Government of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n

Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat said that the political stability which recently emerged in the country will help to intensify the European integration process.<\/p>\n

Octavian Calmic, the head of the negotiation team of Moldova on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the EU said that the first round of negotiation successfully ended today in Chisinau. According to him, the parts could agree upon an agenda of activities which will be implemented by the next round of talks. It will take place in June in Brussels.<\/p>\n

According to Miroslav Lajcak, Executive Director for Europe and Central Asia said that Moldova has registered „remarkable results” within the dialogues with the European Union. He has also emphasized that the election of the president will strengthen the relations between sides.
