The documents are part of the investigations carried out by the Moldovan KGB in the years which followed after the Second World War.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, the Minister thanked the United States for the support given during the years in the process of democratization of the country. He has also asked for a continuous support from the American partners in the European integration process, energetic security and American investments on the national market.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Richard Lugar and Congressmen David Price, Dan Burton and Gregory Meeks reiterated their support for the Government of Moldova. They also expressed their gratitude on the recent developments in the country, especially the one related to the election of the President.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Burton, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia in the US House of Representatives said that he will visit Moldova on May 21-24, 2012 together with a group of delegates.<\/p>\n<p>At the talks Mr. Leanca was hopeful that the American Congress will leave out the restrictions which were imposed during the Cold War and which are still enforced today in the case of Moldova.<\/p>\n<p>The Agreement was signed in 1974 and it was supposed to affect the American trade relations with the countries of the former Soviet Union that prohibit the freedom of emigration and some other human rights.<\/p>\n<p>Moldovan Foreign Minister took part in a conference at Atlantic Council. The relations of the Republic of Moldova with Russia, as well as with the United States of America have been discussed during the talks.
