Moldova receives another financial support from the European Union. The European Commission offered 14 million Euro to the Government of the Republic of Moldova. The agreement, signed today by Vlad Filat, the Moldovan prime minister and Dirk Schuebel, the head of the EU Delegation to Chisinau, is designed to help strengthen the implementation of the reforms within the Complex Institutional Aggrandizement Programme.<\/p>\n

“The Programme is intended to strengthen the basic institutions meant to apply the regulations of the Association Agreement, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement and the Visa-Free Travel Regime with the European Union,” said Vlad Filat. He added that such an event is perfectly subscribed in the co-operation relations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union which are continuously heading up.<\/p>\n

The institutions pointed will benefit from this support by reviewing the national policies in areas of public administration, justice and domestic affairs.<\/p>\n

Dirk Schuebel underlined that the European Union will continue to support the Republic of Moldova in achieving its European integration goal, and the agreement signed today is evidence in this regard. He explained that the first round of implementation of the Complex Institutional Aggrandizement Programme will imply technical assistance, TWINING programs and grants designed to train the employees of the institutions which will be working on the implementation of the agreements.<\/p>\n

“This Programme is opened for co-funding and many EU member states have already expressed their willingness to join this process,” said Dirk Schuebel.
