The parliament approved the nominal composition of Moldova’s delegations to international parliamentary delegations.<\/p>\n

The composition of the delegations triggered dissensions between the Alliance for European Integration and the Communist opposition, who were dissatisfied with the number of PCRM members in the delegation for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).<\/p>\n

Under a draft approved by the parliament, the Moldovan delegation to the PACE will be headed by Liliana Palihovici (Liberal Democratic Party, PLDM). Igor Corman (Democratic Party, PD), Valeriu Ghiletchi (PLDM), Ana Gutu (Liberal Party, PL) and Vladimir Voronin (PCRM) were nominated as members. Stela Jantuan (PD), Grigorii Petrenco (PCRM), Maria Postoico (PCRM), Constantin Staris (PCRM), Valeriu Strelet (PLDM) are deputy members. Moldova’s delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union will be headed by Irina Vlah (PCRM). Vasile Botnari (PD), Ion Butmalai (PLDM), Ion Hadirca (PL), Ivan Ionas (PLDM), Victor Mindru (PCRM), Gheorghe Popa (PCRM), Lilian Zaporojan (PLDM) are members of this delegation.<\/p>\n

Chiril Lucinschi (PLDM) will head the Moldovan delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries. The delegation will have 19 members, of whom eight on behalf of the PCRM. Dumitru Diacov will be the head of the delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. The group that is to represent Moldova has three members: Igor Dodon (PCRM), Valeriu Munteanu (PL) and Valeriu Strelet (PLDM).<\/p>\n

Corina Fusu (PL) was nominated as co-head at the Moldova-EU parliamentary cooperation committee. Ina Supac (PCRM) and Ghenadie Ciobanu (PLDM) are deputy heads. The delegation has 11 permanent members and 12 deputy ones. Ana Gutu will lead Moldova’s 24-member delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie.<\/p>\n

Simion Furdui (PLDM) will lead Moldova’s delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Alexandru Cimbriciuc (PLDM) will be the head of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. PCRM members Anatolie Zagorodnii and Oleg Reidman will lead Moldova’s delegation to the Central European Initiative and Assembly of the Western European Union.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
