\nChi\u015fin\u0103u \/ Moldova.ORG\/ — The minister of foreign affairs of the self-proclaimed Transnistria region, Vladimir Yastrebchak, made a series of declarations concerning the referendum which took place in South Sudan on the 15th of January.<\/p>\n

Mister Yastrechak declared that: “The events, that take place in this country, compose a part of the worldwide, global processes and mechanisms of conflict regulation, which are applied here for Transnistria present interest, because they compose the juridical and precedent base for the regulation of the ethnic conflicts.”
\nAlso Mr. Yastrebchuk mentioned that it is very important for Transnistria the fact that the situation around South Sudan is solved with the help of a referendum recognized by the international community.<\/p>\n

In the case of Kosovo recognition, the authorities of the Republic of Moldova were concerned about the apparition of a precedent in the international law that will permit Transnistria to be recognized as a state. The Transnistrian self-proclaimed authorities already organized a referendum, concerning the independence of the region in 2006.
