Chi\u0219in\u0103u \/ Moldova.ORG\/ –On the 17th of January the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Estonia, Victor Guzun, made a series of declarations to the Estonian newspaper, Postimees. He explained that concerning the transnistria problem, the time is against Chisinau, because people get used with this status quo.<\/p>\n

According to the Ambassador, there are two types of Russian military presence in Moldova, a group of soldiers present according with agreements between both sides, and the second, which is a part of the 14th Russian army.
\nAlso Guzun declared that, Russia mentions that in the region exists deposits, but in conformity with the Instambul agreement, they must be withdrawn from Transnistria. The problem is not what does the Russian army there, but in conformity with many agreements, in the Republic of Moldova is not permitted the presence of the foreign military forces.<\/p>\n

The Republic of Moldova is officially a neutral country, and the presence of any military foreign forces on the territory of the country is forbidden by the Constitution. Also there are 19 years from the period when Transnistria started to claim it’s independence from Moldova.
