\nAt its meeting on Monday, the Executive Council of the Democratic Party of Moldova appointed its candidates for ministers in the new Moldovan Parliament to be formed in the nearest days.<\/p>\n

Party leader Marian Lupu, who is holding the positions of Parliament Speaker and country’s Acting President, stated to the press that the DP ministers’ names will be announced only after consultations with the rest 2 constituent parties of the governing Alliance for European Integration.<\/p>\n

Lupu said that the principle of continuity will be preserved at forming the new Cabinet, and that Democrats Valeriu Lazar and Marcel Raducan shall surely remain at the head of the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Construction, respectively.<\/p>\n

In conformity with the continuity principle and according to the preliminary distribution of state posts between the AEI parties, the Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family will be further headed by the incumbent DP Minister Valentina Buliga, and the Ministry of Culture – by her party comrade Boris Focsa.<\/p>\n

Besides this, Democrats will be at the head of the Ministry of Informational Technologies and Telecommunications, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, the National Cadastre Agency, and the National Bureau for Inter-Ethnic Relations.<\/p>\n

Marian Lupu said that the AEI parties have no discord over the new Government’s Work Program, though the parties are continuing their discussion of some questions, such as e.g. the reforms of the judiciary, of the criminal prosecution system, and of law-enforcement organs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
