\nPrime Minister-designate Vlad Filat has started consultations on the government’s action programme. To this end, Filat met representatives of the National Trade Unions Confederation (CNSM), the government’s communications and press relations department has said.<\/p>\n

Vlad Filat said that the elaboration of the government’s actions is presently in full swing. The document is to be presented to the parliament for approval concomitantly with a proposal on the cabinet’s structure and composition.<\/p>\n

"To a great extent, we are to continue the processes initiated according to the activity programme approved on 25 September 2009. Yet, there will also be adjusting, amendments, taking into account the experience and some problems that appeared during the activity," the prime minister noted.<\/p>\n

Vlad Filat said that the concerned meeting is the first one within the round of consultations with representatives of trade unions, employers, civil society, etc. The participants in these events are to set forth proposals and suggestions on the new government’s activity programme.<\/p>\n

The CNSM deputy head, Mihai Hincu, welcomed the prime minister’s initiative. He voiced hope that the government-CNSM partnership will continue, and the launched social projects will be carried out successfully.<\/p>\n

Among the problems needing special attention, the CNSM deputy head stressed the fostering of the consultations within the Tripartite Commission, including the discussion of the drafts of the state budget and the social insurances budget for 2011. Hincu also underlined the active cooperation to settle up-to-date problems on social protection of employees from all the national economy fields and ensuring their rights.<\/p>\n

The prime minister gave assurances that the government will speak out for an efficient communication with the social partners and ensuring an open dialogue with the society.
