He said the simplified procedure of enterprise registration is an important principle of the EU-Moldova trade relations. The law harmonization in the field will &quot;increase the accessibility of company information, will increase protection of stockholders, employees and creditors and will improve the investor confidence in the business environment of Moldova&quot;. The environmental protection study includes such important national priorities as &quot;the quality of water and sanitation, waste management and the protection of natural resources&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Veaceslav Pituscan, Chief of Section Economic Relations with EU, Assistance and Sectoral Coordination under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, said these studies will be important within negotiations, first of all, when implementing the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Horseling, EU project leader and author of the Transport and Law Policy book, said the Moldovan economy can not develop without a successful transportation sector.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Government must not be the main player in the sector, but it must efficiently reorganize institutions in the field, because Moldova urgently needs &quot;new standards in the field of road building&quot;. Horseling said if Moldova &quot;invests in roads today, they will serve it for 40 years&quot;. The priority of Moldova for 2011 is to join the European air space for achieving maximum economic benefits. He said it is important to adopt important political decisions, and reformations will follow them.<\/p>\n<p>Author of the Company Law and Policy study Nathalie Gasperini appreciated that procedure of company registration became considerably faster, adding authorities must trace practical implementation of amendments to the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>She said that &quot;legal entities must facilitate the registration-documents procedure&quot;, because stockholders must have more rights, especially in companies that are in bigger demand at stock exchanges. She said on shall ensure &quot;the protection of employees when transferring enterprises from an owner to another&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Author of the Environmental Protection Law and Policy study Breda Howard said she regrets the environmental protection &quot;is not a national priority&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>She said there is no strategic mechanism and up-to-date legislation, its implementation is not well ensured, and there is not counted the implementation cost for updating regulations. It developed by a team of 9 international consultants who helped experts within short and long terms.
