\nChisinau (Moldova.ORG) — The authorities of Republic of Moldova, are not content with the results of the OSCE summit held in Astana. Declarations in this sense were made by the vice prime-minister of reintegration Victor Osipov. The vice prime-minister declared that: "The adopted document is far from perfect, because it does not adequately reflect the major concerns of my country and other OSCE member states. However, the inability to adopt any document would cause serious damage to the credibility of our organization,".<\/p>\n

Also Mr. Osipov mentioned that: "Although the Moldovan delegation has reachead a consensus joining the Astana Declaration, we believe that this document does not fully meet our expectations that we had about the OSCE summit organized for the first time in the last 10 years. It is regrettable that, despite extraordinary efforts, we were unable to agree on a political declaration or a plan of action, ". And finally Mr. Osipov declared that: The Declaration adopted at the OSCE summit at Astana does not reflect the position of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n

The OSCE summit ended with unsignificant results. The EU required in the conclusions of the Summit the rebegining of the negotiations in the 5+2 format, also EU officials mention that the negotiation format 5+2 is the only legitimate format of negotiations.<\/p>\n

Earlier the interim-president of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Ghimpu declared that he will not attend the activities of the OSCE summit at Astana, because the summit does not discuss the retreat of the Russian armed forces, or other essential problems on it’s agenda.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
