\nThe Party of Communists has received 41.2 per cent of the ballots cast at the 28 November parliamentary election, according to data unveiled by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) after counting 49.2 per cent of the votes.<\/p>\n

Next come the Liberal Democratic Party with 27.9 per cent of the vote, the Democratic Party with 13.3 per cent and the Liberal Party with 8.5 per cent.<\/p>\n

By 02:00, all the ballot papers were counted in the Ocnita district and only 21 per cent in Chisinau.<\/p>\n

CEC secretary Iurie Ciocan has said that the electoral body will make public the preliminary final results during a today’s news conference at 11:00.<\/p>\n
