\nSix parties are likely to make it to the parliament after the 28 November election, according to the sociological survey "Vox-Populi – II, November 2010", unveiled by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers.<\/p>\n

Thus, the opposition Party of Communists (PCRM) would get 32.1 per cent of the vote, the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) 22.7 per cent, the Democratic Party (PD) 12.1 per cent, the Liberal Party (PL) 10.9 per cent, the Our Moldova Alliance (AMN) 7 per cent and the Humanist Party (PUM) 5.5 per cent.<\/p>\n

The opinion poll Vox-Populi-II, November – 2010 was carried out both in Moldova and Transnistria. It showed that if the election were held on the first Sunday after the opinion poll, only 153 out of 618 respondents from Transnistria would go to the polls. Thus, 18.1 per cent of Transnistrian respondents said they would vote for the PD, 16.4 per cent for the PCRM, 5.5 per cent for the PUM and 0.6 per cent for the PL.<\/p>\n

As concerns politicians’ popularity rating on the right bank of the Dniester, the former president and now Communist leader, Vladimir Voronin, tops the raying with 26.2 per cent. PLDM leader and Prime Minister Vlad Filat comes next with 22.7 per cent. He is followed by Democrats’ leader Marian Lupu with 13 per cent, PL leader and acting President Mihai Ghimpu with 10.9 per cent, AMN leader Serafim Urechean with 6.7 per cent, Communist MP Zinaida Greceanii with 5.8 per cent, PL deputy leader Dorin Chirtoaca with 5.3 per cent and PUM leader Valeriu Pasat with 3.9 per cent. As many as 33.1 per cent of the respondents said they did not trust politicians.<\/p>\n

As many as 28 per cent of respondents from Transnistria announced their political preferences. Thus, Marian Lupu enjoys the confidence of 46.5 per cent, Vladimir Voronin 42.4 per cent, Valeriu Pasat 3.2 per cent and Vlad Filat 2.6 per cent.<\/p>\n

Fifty eight per cent of the respondents said they would vote for sure, 23 per cent said they would probably vote, 8 per cent said they would probably not vote and 5 per cent said they would not vote for sure. As concerns the Transnistrian region, only three per cent of the respondents showed interest in the election due on 28 November in Moldova.<\/p>\n
