The 3rd informal meeting of the Group for Moldova’s European Integration will be held in Chisinau on September 30, to be attended by high-ranked EU officials and foreign ministers of European Union member states.<\/p>\n

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration presumes the holding of such a meeting in Chisinau reflects the interest the European community feels to the efforts the Moldovan authorities undertake to achieve European integration.<\/p>\n

The forum will be held in the Palatul Republicii under the presidency of EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule, and will be dedicated to the development of relations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union.<\/p>\n

The Moldovan side will include the governing Alliance for European Integration party leaders – Liberal Party Chairman, Moldova’s Acting President and Parliament Speaker Mihai Ghimpu, Liberal Democratic Party leader and the country’s Prime Minister Vladimir Filat, First Deputy Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament, Chairman of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Serafim Urechean, and Democratic Party Chairman Marian Lupu.<\/p>\n

It is expected that the meeting will last slightly over one hour, after which Stefan Fule and Iurie Leanca will give a joint news conference.<\/p>\n
