"I would not like that my supposal, that wine problem was made special for somebody to solve it, comes true", Prime Minister Vladimir Filat said in an interview.<\/p>\n

The statement was made in the context of Marina Lupu’s attempts to intervene in the problems with the supply of Moldovan wine to Russia.<\/p>\n

"This is a blow against some politicians, some people soon will appear who are visiting Moscow and who, supposedly, are on the track of the problem solution -in case that electors will vote them", the Prime Minister said and called it cynicism.<\/p>\n

"This behavior – is Pavlov’s dog instinct; there is a candy, which you can receive. But it will not work! It is a cheap trick, and people, who are making it in their electoral purposes, will be soon discredited. The fact is a stubborn thing, and it requires proves", Filat said.<\/p>\n

He said he "will not be a simple spectator in this show", because the problem "is concerned of many people".<\/p>\n

Vladimir Filat said if a person really wants to help other, he "does not make promises, but he works by rolling his sleeves up, and people appreciate this".<\/p>\n

"I have connections with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin too, which permit me to communicate with him. I have been talked with him repeatedly about the wine; we shook hands with him, we came to the arrangement, that everything will be ok", said Filat.<\/p>\n

He said that Russia uses the decree of acting President Mihai Ghimpu about the "Soviet occupation" and the awarding of Ilascu group as a formal pretext in the wine problem.<\/p>\n

Filat promised that the Moldovan Government will express its opinion concerning the Russian MoE statement about awarding the Ilascu group.<\/p>\n

"We proved to be a responsible partner in relationships with Russia, and we meet all commitments to this state. We shall not forget that we have good relationships with Russia, but anyway we have not lost our dignity", said Filat.<\/p>\n

He said he addressed a request to the European Commission to augment the Moldovan wine exportation quota to the EU, starting from 2012, as result, the Brussels agreed to augment the quota to 33 million of bottles, which will be exported free of duty.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said that Moldovan Government representatives will start negotiating with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) about the reconfiguration of Moldovan wine-makers’ credit indebtedness and about providing new loans for production upgrading.<\/p>\n

According to him, the problem will be negotiated during the visit of World Bank President Robert Zoellick on August 11-12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
