He covers subjects such as the "Holomador," the manmade famine forced upon the nation of Ukraine by Soviet Communists. Despite Ukraine’s incredibly productive independent grain farmers, the "Kulaks," Stalin was able to deliberately starve millions of Ukrainians to death in the name of social progress. <\/p>\n

This month, the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation has posted this extraordinary documentary about the origins and impact of communism on our Global Museum on Communism web site<\/a>. Dr. Lee Edwards, Chairman of The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, was featured in the Fox News documentary. Edwards joined other prominent experts on communism who documented the atrocities of Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Che Guevara and Adolf Hitler. <\/p>\n

Beck’s guests pointed out the similarities between the two brands of tyrannical governments. Both used similar icons and art, and their vocabulary followed parallel lines.<\/p>\n

For most people, it is an unknown fact of history that, in the beginning days, Soviet-era Marxists trained and coached Germany’s National Socialist Workers’ Party, the Nazis, on the application of mass murder technology and terror.<\/p>\n

The comparison of the cult-like regimes of Stalin and Hitler was followed by Edwards, who discussed the "worst murderer in history," Mao Zedong. In Mao’s so-called Great Leap Forward, over 60 million men, women and children died in the name of social progress.<\/p>\n

The documentary was seen by millions of Fox News viewers and reportedly generated the largest number of viewers ever recorded for a cable documentary in a traditional news time slot.<\/p>\n
