Minister of Information Technologies and Telecommunications Alexandru Oleinic considers that Moldova will have a unique chance to openly declare its potential, possibilities, special conditions for a quicker development of the sector of information and communication technologies (ICT) at the ICT Summit 2010, which will be held in Chisinau on March 30-31.<\/p>\n

The main topic of the summit will be the expansion of possibilities for Moldova’s development with the help of information technologies and the creation of the ICT industry.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the Association of ICT private companies Veaceslav Kunev said that the task of the summit is to draw the society’s attention to the IT sector and underlined that this sphere is a real chance for Moldova to make a breakthrough in the economic development.<\/p>\n

"Another important aspect is to receive support on the part of the Government and potential participants for the Excellence and the Training Center for the ICT industry", he considers.<\/p>\n

The Moldova ICT Summit 2010 will be conducted on tracks, in the frame of which Moldovan companies will be able to intercourse with foreign companies, interested in the Moldovan market with its potential business partners. Reports on the possibilities of the Moldovan ICT industry and scenarios of Moldova’s coming to the international market, on ICT professionals, on latest technical achievements problems and trends will be presented.<\/p>\n

The Summit will be conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Telecommunications. The partners will be: National ICT Association, USAID CEED Project, Microsoft.<\/p>\n

A large number of ICT foreign and Moldovan leaders and experts will participate in the summit. Vice President, Regional Director Russia and CIS Countries IDC Robert Farish, USAID RCI Innovation Center Senior Advisor Tomislav Bronzin, Managing Director, Estonian Organization for Copyright Protection (EOCP) Erik Mandre will be among foreign speakers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
