The cabinet of ministers has annulled a governmental decision from 8 April 2009 imposing a visa regime on Romania. The action of this decision was cancelled under a decree by the acting Moldovan president from 17 September 2009.<\/p>\n

At a meeting on 25 September evening, new Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed all the ministers to identify the most urgent problems faced by the ministries they head and come out with solutions to them by the next government meeting, due on 1 October.<\/p>\n

Thus, the Agriculture and Food Ministry is to put forward solutions to unblock the export of wine in bulk and lift the ban on the export of grapes. The Finance Ministry is to work out a draft decision on the rectification of the 2009 state budget, as well as to start elaborating the state budget for 2010.<\/p>\n

The Foreign and European Integration Ministry has the task to launch negotiations with Romania to sign an Agreement On Small Border Traffic, etc. The prime minister asked the Economics Ministry to give the final touches and to swiftly unveil an anti-crisis programme to improve the economic situation in Moldova.<\/p>\n

The Cabinet of Ministers also decided to reorganize the government’s apparatus and the State Chancellery, which is to be led by State Minister Victor Bodiu.<\/p>\n

The government approved the nominal composition of a Moldovan delegation due to pay a working visit to Brussels on 29-30 September. The delegation will be made up of Prime Minister Vlad Filat and Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Iurie Leanca.
