Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin has spoken out for arriving at a political compromise between the political parties after the upcoming early parliamentary elections. On Monday, in his interview for the Interfax Russian news agency he said that the compromise is necessary in order to return the country to a stable and predicted development line.<\/p>\n

In his words, those, who organized the political crisis, decided to use all means – pogroms, blocking of the President election, blackmail, unsubstantiated accusation of the authorities, endless election campaign.<\/p>\n

“They want to paralyze the country by all means, to transfer the country under the international political protectorate in the hope of its complete disappearance from the world political map. Our opponents behave like a force, which deliberately provokes a serious geopolitical catastrophe. But they are destined to fail”, Vladimir Voronin said.<\/p>\n

He remarked that separate positive aspects have already been revealed in the course of the present election campaign.<\/p>\n

“We see that the voters, including those, who voted for the oppositional parties at the elections of April 5, began understanding the real situation. And they reconsider their position. It makes us revise our plans and the plans of our political opponents. Some of them became speaking more about Moldova, its independence, need for uniting the entire society”, the incumbent President said.<\/p>\n

He considers that it is already a good prerequisite for searching for a compromise between all the political forces after the completion of the elections.<\/p>\n

“Alongside with this, I have already repeatedly reiterated that we call for this compromise irrespective of the number of seats, our party will gain in the next Parliament – 65 or 75. The compromise is needed, in order to solve the problem of the President election. It is necessary for bringing the country back to the orbit of its stable and predicted development”, Vladimir Voronin underlined.<\/p>\n

He remarked that the voters of all the parties, the entire society are tired of political battles and radical appeals. “If they vote for certain parties, they make this in the hope that the politicians of these partners will lead the country to consensus, but not to new elections. But I am optimistic. The elections will pass and time to collect stones will come.
