A year ago, the Supreme Court of Justice ruled that the case should be reconsidered by the Court of Appeal, saying that procedural errors had been discovered. Earlier, the Court of Appeal declared Pasat non guilty in the case concerning the sale of jet fighters. However, the court sentenced him to five years in prison for abuse of power during the sale of Uragan rocket systems.
