The daily [pro-government and pro-Communist Party] Moldova Suverana on Wednesday published the names of two Serbian citizens who, according to some data, were involved in the 7 April events. <\/p>\n

An article titled, Serbian TIR Driver Has Become Overnight European Expert Importer of Revolutions, said that a citizen of Serbia, Radivoje Grujic, got the entry visa for Moldova in Kiev, after he had presented himself as TIR driver. ‘Afterwards, he appealed to an employee of the Council of Europe’s Office, Roni Pateze, to legalize his stay in Moldova under the representation of this organization. Thus, the Chisinau-based Council of Europe’s Office requested the issuance of a business visa No 0062312 for the Serbian citizen Radivoje Grujic. Grujic turned from TIR driver into an employee of the Council of Europe overnight,’ the daily said. <\/p>\n

Moldova Suverana also said that ‘his frequent contacts with the Chisinau opposition in full swing of the election campaign are known. Subsequently, the Serbian acted within a project, Alegeri Libere si Corecte (Free and Fair Elections), being strictly in charge of monitoring the observation process. What arouses suspicion is the Serbian’s activity of cooperation with his conational, Danko Cocic – another expert who was also present on the staircases of Moldova’s presidency at the height of the events from 7 April 2009. <\/p>\n

The author of Moldova Suverana’s article also says that ‘serious resources were allocated for the success of the attempt of coup d’etat in Moldova: experts who passed through the experiences of Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Iraq, etc.’ <\/p>\n

Earlier the head of the state commission for elucidating the grounds, conditions and impact of the 7-8 April 2009 events, Vladimir Turcan, has said that enough evidence has been collected so far, which proves the involvement of both the domestic and external factors in the April events. <\/p>\n

Turcan said that two persons born in Serbia were discovered, who were in Moldova during the last April events, and whom some states secret services used to destabilize the situation in Moldova. <\/p>\n

‘They entered Moldova as drivers, and had contacts with some NGOs and representatives of political formations. Moreover, these people appealed to services of an international organization to extend their visas to stay in Moldova,’ Turcan added, stressing that more details will be provided after the completion of the inquiry.
