On Monday Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca threatened Deputy Director of the municipal department for education, youth and sport Gheorghe Suceveanu that he will depose him from his post.<\/p>\n

The Mayor expressed his discontent with the activities of the department concerning the determination of the number of school and lyceum pupils, who were detained and beaten by the police in the course of the protest actions on April 7 and after them. Suceveanu reported that five pupils were detained by the police and according to the data of the local public authorities, they were 14.<\/p>\n

"Mister Suceveanu, in what world are you? You have over 100 subordinates and are unable to find out the exact number of pupils, who suffered from the police, though I demanded from you to do this during several successive meetings. Don’t you know, what is going on in the department? I demand from you in an urgent order that you and Department Director Tatiana Tverodohleb would give me your explanations", the Mayor said.<\/p>\n

Director of the department for local public administration Alexandra Motpan said at a sitting that nothing is known from April 7 of two young people Alexandr Galinschi and Serghei Donici.<\/p>\n

The Mayor requested everybody, who knows where these young people can stay, to inform the municipality of this.<\/p>\n

Chirtoaca also demanded from the municipal departments to give consultations and psychological assistance to persons, who suffered from policemen’s beating.<\/p>\n

According to the data by the Mayor’s office, 322 people were subjected to tortures.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the municipal police have already missed several working sittings in the Mayor’s office, which fact, in analysts’ opinion, evidences that he police ignore Dorin Chirtoaca.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
