The leader of the LDPM, Vlad Filat, has called upon participants in the Sunday protest rally in Chisinau to send true information to their raions about the state of affairs in Chisinau.<\/p>\n

He said that the authorities, using the mass media loyal to them, are trying to misinform the public by saying that the opposition tried to organize a coup d’etat.<\/p>\n

"As a matter of fact, provocateurs were inculcated into the ranks of peaceful protesters and they organized disorders. The Communists used our children as a shield for promoting their own interests," he said.<\/p>\n

Filat said that fear rather than the Communists rules now Moldova.<\/p>\n

"The more severely they beat us, the stronger we shall become", he remarked.<\/p>\n

The LDPM leader said that Moldovan citizens want to live in a European state and to have a European future.<\/p>\n

"We were numerous and we protested before the elections, but it seems that we were not numerous enough, otherwise the Communists would have acted in a different way", Filat underlined.<\/p>\n

He called upon citizens not to give up to fear and to lose hope for a better future.<\/p>\n

"We are currently verifying the lists of voters, consulting European organizations and hope that we shall be able to bring the country back to the democratic way of development", Filat concluded.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
