Election officials in Moldova Saturday certified the Communist Party won the most votes in the recent parliamentary election.<\/P>

But three of the nine members of the Central Election Commission attached an opinion that the voter list was compiled in a flawed manner, RIA Novosti reported. They said people who had died or moved out of the country were included on the list, the Russian news agency said.<\/P>

This is the fault of the Central Election Commission who agreed to compile the list not on the basis of data provided by local authorities, but from data provided by the Information Ministry,<\/Q> the opinion said.<\/P>

The Communist Party’s share of the vote was 49.48 percent, the commission said, and it won 60 seats in Parliament. Three opposition groups, the Liberal party, Liberal Democratic party and Our Moldova alliance received 13.14 percent, 12.43 percent and 9.77 percent of the vote, with the first two parties winning 15 seats each and the third 11.<\/P>

Opponents of the government have criticized the election last Sunday, and protesters clashed with police Monday and Tuesday in the capital, Chisinau.<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
