\nThe opposition party “Alianta Moldova Noastra” (AMN) claims they can’t access the electoral list due to the ruling party appeal to Appeal Court. The spokesperson of the party, Victor Osipov, maintains that AMN could access the electoral list only a few hours, in inadequate conditions: the basement of a judiciary court. The Appeal Court will decide upon the Communist Party contestation to stop the access to the electoral list today at 15:00.<\/p>\n

Both Moldovan and Romanian journalists have been affected. “We appeal to the authorities to act with care and restraint,” Reporters Without Borders said. “They have a duty to ensure that the detained journalists are released without delay and that media are able to work freely and safely. Moreover, the stigmatization of Romania and Romanian journalists is a dangerous strategy.
