The election runners and the accredited observers who want to check the electoral lists on the basis of which the polling for the parliamentary elections was carried out on 5 April, 2009, can do this after preliminarily informing the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).<\/p>\n

According to CEC, the decision was made to ensure the transparency of the electoral documents, as well as following the formally requests and petitions on the part of some election runners.<\/p>\n
