Canadian Laura Archer, freed from her hostage ordeal in Sudan’s Darfur region, says the experience hasn’t extinguished her desire to perform humanitarian work.<\/P>

Archer, arriving home in Montreal Saturday, told reporters that despite being held four days by kidnappers who said they were unhappy with a war crimes indictment of Sudanese President Omar Bashir, she wants to continue her work with the group Doctors Without Borders, The (Montreal) Gazette reported.<\/P>

This incident has not affected my belief in humanitarian work,<\/Q> said Archer, 31. It has not made me not want to continue this work, but future plans will come as they come.<\/Q><\/P>

Archer, a nurse, and three other Doctors Without Borders aid workers were kidnapped March 11 in Darfur after Bashir had expelled all such humanitarians from the country in the wake of his indictment by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.<\/P>
