He also tabled a legislative initiative in the Parliament over the modification of the given law. <br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"5\" src=\"http:\/\/reporter.md\/images\/news\/pldm%20filat.jpg\" width=\"220\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n&ldquo;It is evident yet that the government does not want to comply with the ECHR decision,&rdquo; said the PLDM member and jurist Vitalie Nagacevschi. <\/p>\n<p>The Government has three months to amend the law that limits the access of persons holding dual nationality to public posts. Until then yet, it can appeal the decision to the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights. <\/p>\n<p>According to Nagacevschi, such a move would be unsuccessful because the ECHR decisions are seldom accepted for reexamination, while the decision that orders that the restrictions imposed on the persons holding dual nationality be cancelled was passed unanimously. <\/p>\n<p>Vitalie Nagacevschi expressed his skepticism about the possibility that the given law would be cancelled until next spring as the authorities would make everything possible to delay this. <\/p>\n<p>The Parliament adopted the law that bans the holders of dual nationality from holding public posts on December 7, 2007.
