The Democratic Party (PD) doesn’t exclude the fact they could initiate the dismissal of the governor of Moldova National Bank (BNM) Leonid Talmaci, the leader of PD, Dumitru Diacov declared on Thursday, in the plenary sitting of the Parliament, DECA-press informs. <\/p>\n

He proposed that the governor be invited to the Parliament to give some explanations regarding the situation create in term of the exchange of the national currency. The democrats consider that BNM maintains artificially the course of the Moldovan lei. In this way, it points to the fact that this situation encourages the poverty of the population.
\nDumitru Diacov’s proposal was voted but it didn’t get the necessary number of vote for being implemented. <\/p>\n

„If the proposal is not supported, we have no other choice than ask for the governor’s dismissal”, the PD leader mentioned.
