Moldova has lost a historic occasion to join NATO and advance in its development. This is the conclusion the participants at the debates in the open air from Sunday, organized by the Union of Journalists from Moldova (UJM), came to. The topic of the discussions was the recent NATO summit from Bucharest. <\/p>\n

The participants at the event are dissatisfied with the fact that the head of the state didn’t formulate some pro-NATO demands. In exchange, he came with accusations at the address of Romania. <\/p>\n

„It is a nonsense to come to Bucharest and present some complaints that the host-country of the summit doesn’t permit the development of the Republic of Moldova, that it raises „distructive problems\u0403h regarding the identity of the population of the Republic of Moldova\u0403h, Valeriu Saharneanu, president of UJM, declared, cited by DECA-press Agency. <\/p>\n

He said he didn’t understand why Vladimir Voronin hadn’t said a word about the Russian armed forces from the left bank of the Nistru River, which „keep us for ten years in poverty and intolerance\u0403h. <\/p>\n
