After president Vladimir Voronin recently declared he doesn’t exclude the resolution of the Transnistrian problem in the near future, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation diffused the survey „Foreign and diplomatic political activity of the Russian Federation in 2007”, in which, in fact, it contradicts these statements, DECA-press Agency transmits. <\/p>\n

The cited document mentions that the serious position of Chisinau which doesn’t accept the Transnistrian administration as a part of the resolution with equal rights and the intention to get the resolution only within the unitary Constitution doesn’t provide ground to promptly oberpass the crisis in the resolution. <\/p>\n

The Ministry underlines the fact that, for the resolution of the negotiation process between Transnistrian and Moldova, interrupted in March 2005 at the initiative of Chisinau, must come to a compromise, given the interests of the two parts, to give up any forms of economic pressure and offer the necessary guaranty. <\/p>\n
