The General Prosecution (PG) will have to present the Parliament some information about the privatization of Teodosiu Manor House, which is placed in the centre of the capital, in front of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and which was demolished illegally in August 2005, DECA-press informs. <\/p>\n

The communist deputies Vladimir Dragomir and Elena Botnarenco filed this demand to the General Prosecution. <\/p>\n

Thus, communists reacted at the resolution of the opposition, which accused the governing system of the illegal demolition of this monument protected by the state and asked for the dismissal of the minister of Culture and Tourism, Artur Cozma. <\/p>\n

The majority faction of communists rejected on Thursday this resolution considering it groundless. <\/p>\n

Both communist deputies addressed at PG as a result of Artur Cozma’s statement according to which this building had been illeglly privatized in 1998-1999, together with the territory on which it is placed. According to the minster’s words, all these years, the building has changed its owners several times. Today, it is owned by a foreign firm which cannot be discovered. <\/p>\n
