The majority faction of the Communist Party rejected on Thursday the proposal of several opposition parties to organize hearings in the Transnistrian problem, DECA-press Agency communicates. <\/p>\n

Proposals in this context were made by the leader of the Democratic Party, Dumitru Diacov, leader of the National-Liberal Party, Vitalia Pavlicenco, leader of „Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Serafim Urechean, leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party from Moldova, Vladimir Filat, deputy Anatol Taranu. <\/p>\n

These deputies reminded that they had proposed many times the organization of these hearings, but each time communists refused to accept it. They mentioned that, after the interview given to a Russian publication this week by president Vladimir Voronin, the need of these hearings has become more serious. The head of the state said that, soon, the Transnistrian problem would be solved. <\/p>\n

The opposition focused on the fact that any decision regarding the Transnistrian problem will have to pass through the Parliament. That is why, deputies must be informed from the first source and in time about an change in this situation. <\/p>\n
