The Ministry of Local Public Administration (MLPA) will try to obtain the dismissal of Mihai Ghimpu from president of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) with the help of the Supreme Court, DECA-press Agency communicates. <\/p>\n

This is what the jurist of the Ministry, Ghenadie Gluscenco, announced about. <\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the Court of Appeal rejected as groundless the demands of the Ministry which considers Mihai Ghimpu’s election as president of CMC illegal. This is due to the fact that the decision of the Council regarding the appointment of Mihai Ghimpu as president didn’t contain the sums of money necessary for the activity of president of CMC ad o his body. Mihai Ghimpu asserts that he didn’t use any money from the public budget. <\/p>\n

The jurist of the Ministry, Ghenadie Gluscenco said that, for now, nobody know what arguments the Ministry will come with at SC.
