Russian citizens from Moldova, including those who have voted on the left bank of the Nistru River, gave preference to Dmitri Medvedev. This one gathered 87,24% (43 086 votes), DECA-press transmits. <\/p>\n

According to the data offered by the Embassy of Russia to Chisinau, he is followed by Ghennadi Ziuganov whom 6,64% (3 278 people) voted for. <\/p>\n

After that, Vladimir Jirinovski follows with 5,26% (2 596 persons) and Andrei Bogdanov – 0,42% (208 persons). A total of 49 386 Russian citizens who live in Moldova or were here on the Election Day participated at the elections. 0,44% of the ballot papers have been declared invalid. <\/p>\n

According to some information, in Moldova, including Transnistrian region, over 100 thousand Russian citizens live. Nearly 85 thousand of them have the right to vote. The elections of the president of Russia on the territory of Moldova have been declared valid. <\/p>\n

Dmitri Medvedev, the candidate of the Party „Rusia Unita” and the favourite present leader from Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, won the presidential elections from Russia held on Sunday. He has got 70,22% of the electorate’s votes. <\/p>\n

According to the partial results, diffused by the Central Electoral Commission after the counting of 99% of the votes, Medvedev is followed by the candidate of communists, Ghennadi Ziuganov, appreciated with 17,77% of the votes and the leader of LDPR, Vladimir Jirinovski, who has got 9,37% of the votes.
