The Parliament will not be against Russia opening 23 polling stations on the territory of the Transnistrian region for the presidential elections from March 2nd. On Thursday, in time of the plenary sitting of the Parliament, communist deputies were against the proposal of the leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party from Moldova (PLDM), Vladimir Filat, according to which the Parliament had to come with a statement in this context, the parliamentary report of DECA-press Agency transmits. <\/p>\n

Vladimir Filat declared that the opening of these polling stations violates the international right and that „this is an intimidation of the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova”. <\/p>\n

Communists were against Vladimir Filat’s proposal to hear the Government in the Parliament on the topic of measures taken as a reply to the opening of these polling stations by Russia.
