The European Union removed the prohibition imposed on the access on its territory of the speaker from Tiraspol, Evgheni Sevciuk, as well as of other five ex-Transnistrian officials, DECA-press transmits.
\nThey are as follows: Eduard Kosovski, ex-president of the Transnistrian central bank; Serghei Leontiev, ex-vicepresident of the Transnistrian bank; Anatoli Kaminski, former vice-speaker; Boris Akulov, ex-minister of telecommunications, and then permanent representative of Transnistrian to Ukraine; Alexei Lipovtev, ex-vicedirector of the customs committee.
\nEU didn’t state the reasons of this decision, but it is supposed that these persons have been included in the list of non-grata Transnistrian officials in EU because they do not work in the previous posts.
\nAt the same time, if this was the reason, it is not clear why Victor Balala, dismissed from the function of minister of Justice at the insistence of the Supreme Soviet two years ago and who left for Russia, according to some gossips, had been preserved in the list of persons non-grata.
