Minster of Ecology and Natural Resources Constantin Mihailescu has been dismissed for disregarding his attributions in line with the legislation, the Presidential press service stated, quoted by BASA-press. <\/p>\n

According to the quoted source, President Vladimir Voronin signed the decree to dismiss Mihailescu for disregarding his attributions in line with the legislation, manifested by abuse of his position in line with the article 27, paragraph 2, item (8) of the Law on Government and article 98, paragraph (6) in the Moldovan Constitution. <\/p>\n

Constantin Mihailescu, born in Cirpesti village, Cantemir county, on April, 4, 1959, was appointed in office in March, 2004, by the Moldovan presidential decree. <\/p>\n

At the same time, by another presidential decree, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Violeta Ivanov was appointed in this office. Ivanov was born in Grinauti village, Ocnita county, on September, 15, 1967. Previously, she had functioned within the Ministry of Environment as head of division “Computer coordination and authorization of environmental usages”; the Ministry of Ecology, Constructions, Management of the Territory as head of department State Ecological Expertise, State Ecological Inspectorate; the Ministry of ecology and Natural Resources as head of Department Environmental Policy; head of department Environmental Policy and European Integration.  \/\/ BASA-Press<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
