The majority parliamentary faction of the Communist Party was on Thursday against the proposal of the leader of the National-Liberal Party (PNL), Vitalia Pavlicenco, to invite in the Parliament the general prosecutor Valeriu Gurbulea and the director of the Information and Security Service, Artur Restnicov, on the problem of some statements of president Vladimir Voronin, DECA-press transmits.
\nVitalia Pavlicenco declared that, recently, in time of a sitting with the veterans, the president declared that the parliamentary elections from 2009 will be “elections between blacks and whites”. He also said that the president warned the veterans that the results of the local elections from Chisinau (where the democrats won) must teach them a lesson and declared that they shouldn’t admit that what had happened in Chisinau extend at the level of country.
\nAccording to the leader of PNL, president Vladimir Voronin violated by means of these declarations the items of the Constitution, which prohibit the discrimination of citizens on in term of ethnic, religious principles, etc.
\nVitalia Pavlicenco considers that PG and ISS should determine what the head of the state had in view when he had declared that the elections would be “between whites and blacks”.
