On Friday, Victor Stepaniuc’s position in Parliament was declared vacant. He has recently been appointed to perform the duties of deputy prime minister dealing with social issues, DECA-press Agency transmits.
\nIn his speech held in front of the MPs, Stepaniuc said he is satisfied with the results of his work in Parliament in the last 12 years. He declared that during this period he took part in the elaboration of an efficient legislation that now works.
\nThe new deputy prime minister pointed out that every citizen’s and politician’s aim is “to serve the interests of Moldova.”
\nVictor Stepaniuc assured his former colleagues that his transfer from the Parliament to the Government does not mean that he gives up politics.
