The president of the Republican People’s Party (PPR), Nicolae Andronic, intends to address to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) because the Moldovan authorities violate his rights.
\nHe took a decision in this context, after, at the end of the last week, he had arrested by the police and forced to go to the General Prosecution, DECA-press informs.
\nNicolae Andronic asserts that he was brought to the Prosecution in order to be officially put under accusation in a new trial. In this case, he is accused of the fact that, he had signed a document on the basis of which 200 tons of wheat had been taken out of the state reserve when he was still the prime-deputy-prime-minister of the country (1998-1999).
\nThe leader of PPR is revolted about the behaviour of the representatives of the police and prosecution and affirms that he cannot understand why they did that since he had previously declared that he would come to the Prosecution at the first appeal.
\n„Another thing is that I’ve refused to participate at the procedural norms, but this is my right according to the legislation in effect and there is no reason for breaking it”, the leader of PPR said.
