The director of the Second Department for CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Victor Sorokin, gave an interview to the press agency „Interfax” in which he referred to the Transdniestrian problem.
\nHe didn’t confirm the information, according to which Russia had proposed its own plan of Transnistrian problem resolution, and had issued a series of requirements to Moldova, DECA-press communicates.
\n„There is little probability that someone finds the magic formula of resolution of the conflict alone. The parts involved in the conflict must come to an agreement. Chisinau and Tiraspol carry the main responsibility in these problems. It is their tight to take or not to take into account the proposals of the mediators willing to contribute to the conflict resolution process”, the official declared.
\nHe said that everything it was proposed for negotiations so far is valid.
