Twenty four district councils of Orhei, members of the democratic faction „Pro Europa”, signed a demand addressed to the president of the country, the president of the Parliament and the prime-minister in which they ask them to interfere and not admit the appointment of the ex-president of the district of Orhei, Evghenii Pisov, as chief of the State Tax Inspectorate.
\nAccording to the order, cited by DECA-press Agency, during his career of civil servant in the district, Pisov had been involved in several cases of corruption, tax evasions and others. His appointment as chief of the district tax office could cause conflicts and negative attitude from the part of economic agents, the 24 authors of the demand consider.
\nAt the same time, the district councillors from Orhei mention in the cited document that they support the policy of the state in term of combating corruption, but they are revolted about the fact that some compromised persons search for coming to power in the district of Orhei.
