The Communist Party from the Republic of Moldova (PCRM) launched a statement on the elections from Gagauzia which it considers the „a serious and responsible exam for the whole Gagauzian autonomy”, DECA-press Agency transmits.
\n„The People’s Assembly (PA) has already been a real model of wisdom and stability in Gagauzia, a place where different political forces have found common language on the basis of principles of pragmatism and mutual respect. The Communist Party is sure that, this time, electors will confirm the high authority of PA of Gagauzia, which it has in the Republic of Moldova”, the cited document shows.
\nPCRM affirms that it is getting ready to participate more actively at this electoral campaign, but, for now, it declares it will not issue candidates in all constituencies, because it doesn’t want „to compete with many dignified independent candidates, whose political program does not contradict the basic responsibilities of PCRM”.
