On Tuesday, the Constitutional Court (CC) left in effect the items of the Penal Procedure Code contested by the Government, which says that the juridical norms of process character from other national laws may be applied not only on condition to include them in the Penal Procedure Code, DECA-press informs.
\nThe representative of the Government at the process declared that these items put the Penal Procedure Code at the same level with the Constitution and international treaties , as well as on upper positions in comparison with other laws, which have a similar juridical force.
\nThe representative of the Parliament said that these items have been included in the Penal Procedure Code with the aim of making process a unit.
\nThe Presidency, the Supreme Court, the General Prosecution have formulated some points of view in favour of constitutionality of the contested norms.
