The Russian Patriarchate confirmed the information, launched by the press from Chisinau, according to which the Moldovan president Vladimir Voronin will receive the award „For great merits in the consolidation of cohesion among pravoslavnic nations” from the hands of the Patriarch of Moscow and whole Russia, DECA-press Agency transmits.
\nThe Russian Patriarchate confirmed that the award will be given to Voronin on January 21st, in time of the official visit of the Moldovan president to Moscow. The awarding ceremony will be held at the Cathedral of Hristos Mantuitorul from Moscow.
\nDuring the same visit, which will take place in the period of January 21st – 22nd, Vladimir Voronin will meet his Russian homologue, Vladimir Putin.
