The faction of the Communist Party (PCRM) in the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) demands the immediate dismissal of the leadership of the Chisinau city hall. The declaration was made by President of PCRM faction in CMC Svetlana Popa at the meeting of the Council on December 20, 2007. <\/p>\n

Svetlana Popa stated "the incompetence, voluntarism, lack of concern for the Chisinau residents constitute a too high price to let the leaders hold their offices. So far, Chisinau has never had such an unprofessional authority with such a cannibal regime", Svetlana Popa specified. <\/p>\n

"Under these circumstances, the PCRM faction is unwilling to participate in the shameful voting of an anti-popular municipal budget offered by the coalition and demands the immediate dismissal of the Chisinau city hall’s leadership.", Popa said. <\/p>\n

According to Councillor Oleg Cernei, who represents "Our Moldova Alliance" the declaration made by the PCRM had no grounds. "If the PCRM considers that the CMC’s activity is incompetent then let them come with real suggestions to solve the problems."
