Republic of Moldova took over the Presidency of the Central-European Initiative (CEI). The event was held on December 17th, in Trieste (Italy), within the Reunion of National Coordinators of CEI, DECA-press Agency informs, referring to a press release of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
\nThe decision to take over the Presidency was adopted at the Summitt of CEI prime-ministers held this year, in Sofia (Bulgaria), on November 27th.
\nRepublic of Moldova will have the mandate of President of this organization all the next year, beginning with January 1st.
\nWithin its Presidency at CEI, Republic of Moldova will put the focus on the implementation of decisions of the Summit of Prime-ministers from Sofia regarding the repositiioning and the reorganization of CEI, will coordinate the efforts of the organization and of the member states in term of development of relations with EU, the consolidation of cooperation betweemn the CEI member and non-member states of EU.
\nCEI consists of such countries as: Austria, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Italy, Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Hungary. \/\/ DECA-Press<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
