The Christian-Democratic People’s Party (PPCD) considers that the communists’ anti-Romanian policy may lead to a policy of mutuality from the part of Romania. A statement of the leader of the PPCD parliamentary faction, Vlad Cubreacov, says that the situation created in the relations between the two states is regrettable, DECA-press informs. <\/p>\n

„At present, the public opinion assists at a continuous degradation of the relations between the two states. Romania is one of the most important partners of Republic of Moldova, and from the cultural or commercial points of view. It is the seventh country as a power in the European Union with which Republic of Moldova has implemented an individual action plan. We hope that the relations between Romania and Republic of Moldova will step soon in a normal and positive environment”, the leader of PPCD faction asserts. <\/p>\n

According to him, the national interest of Republic of Moldova denotes at present the problem of maintaining some good relations with its neighbours, with Romania and, respectively, Ukraine. <\/p>\n

He mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration hasn’t provided any explanations yet which would show if the last measures taken in Romania’s context are well-founded and justified. <\/p>\n
