The political analyst Igor Botan, executive director of the Association for Participative Democracy ADEPT, considers that leaving social-democrats out of majority coalition of the Municipal Council of Chisinau (MCC), DECA-press transmits. <\/p>\n

Botan made the public understand that the presence of social-democrats in the coalition would be good for its viability. <\/p>\n

A similar opinion has been recently expressed by the leader of the faction of the Democratic Party in MCC, Alexandru Tanase. He said that the majority coalition must count 31 councillors, and not 26 as it has at present (the social-democratic faction has got 5 members). <\/p>\n

\"\"Igor Botan asserts that the Liberal Party, which is the most numerous faction in MCC from democratic parties (11 councillors) and the post of general mayor of the capital, is the one interested in the viability and functioning aspect of the majority in the Council. <\/p>\n
